pjur woman sexual lubricant

There are many things which can affect your body’s natural lubrication, and at some point in time, all of us will likely be faced with a situation where we’re not as wet as we’d like to be.

This is nothing to be embarrassed about! While age and hormones are factors, things like where you are in your menstrual cycle, stress, medications or even using condoms can affect your body’s own ability to produce sufficient lubrication to make sexual intimacy pleasurable.

It’s important to understand how the process works before you decide how to remedy the problem. Typically, within 10 to 30 seconds of sexual arousal, your vagina will swell and begin to secrete a slippery fluid, and usually the more aroused you are, the more fluid that’s produced. How much arousal or foreplay each of us requires to “get wet” varies from woman to woman, as does how wet we get, but the process is still the same. We get turned on, we get wet.

I’ve used most water based, glycerin based, and silicone based lubes for a variety of sexual activities. If you use sex toys like vibrators, clitoral vibes, dildos or anal toys you’ve also likely experimented with several brands available at your local pharmacy – but each of these products has drawbacks and limitations, and they don’t feel quite so natural.

When I first tried pjur woman water based body glide, I was in heaven. This is the first lube I’ve used that feels like me. It has an amazing consistency, is very slippery, and it lasts a long, long time. It transferred my own body heat extremely well, and it gave me that wonderful feeling of simply being soaking wet!

My partner can go for extended periods of time, but sometimes, my own natural juices run dry after hours of straight fucking! pjur woman makes the second and third hour as wet as the first ten minutes!

pjur woman has made my play with sex toys that much more enjoyable because I don’t have to worry about adding more lube or using something which might irritate my skin. It’s an amazing product, and is the lube I use to test and review sex toys.

Another fantastic thing about pjur woman is that there’s no taste or odor, it isn’t sticky like some other lubes, and a little bit goes a long way. There’s no need to douse yourself with it to get wet enough like some other products. It just glides onto your skin, and makes your pussy feel simply delightful!

pjur woman is dermatologist tested, safe for all types of sex toys, condom safe, and qualifies as a medically certified lubricant. This is the lube to have in your bedroom, and is the only lube this lazy geisha will ever use again.

Ever since I had a hysterectomy I don’t get very wet. It’s not to say that I’m not aroused but the juices just don’t flow. It’s damn annoying. Especially if you’re with someone new. Do you know of any lubes you can apply inside before hand and he will never need to know?

    Beth,

Thank you so much for your question.

I completely understand how embarrassing this can be, especially when you’re with someone new. I’m assuming that you had a complete hysterectomy and lost your ovaries along with your cervix and uterus?

Our natural response when aroused is to secrete lubricating fluids from the glands located within the vagina, but a number of factors can contribute to vaginal dryness. There are a couple of things you can do about this. My first suggestion would be to talk to your doctor and see if some type of HRT (hormone replacement therapy) is right for you. Whether or not you smoke, your age, and your breast cancer risk level are all questions you’re going to want to ask about. I realize that these can be embarrassing conversations, but they’re sometimes necessary, and there could be alternatives you hadn’t considered. Next, you can insist on getting more foreplay which will allow your body to catch up to your desire level. But, your specific question about whether or not there’s a lube you can apply beforehand; well, any commercial lube you choose is still going to have to come out of a bottle or container. What you could do is excuse yourself to your washroom prior to being intimate with your partner, and you could apply a quantity of lube to your fingers and lubricate yourself ahead of time. Many silicone based lubes such as pjur eros bodyglide are long lasting and won’t require reapplication as soon as some water based products. But I would recommend testing the lube on yourself beforehand to make sure that it doesn’t irritate your skin or your vagina. Many women have issues with silicone based lubes so you’re going to want to check that out ahead of time.

    Good luck!

    Hey Nina,

your raves about pjur woman bodyglide are very convincing. I went to check out where I could buy some and everything I find says it is silicone based. Some say that it is safe for toys only when washed off immediately after use and it will still take the sheen off some toys.

There is a pjur woman aqua, which is water based. Have you used it? Does it measure up to the bodyglide? Or is it worth investing in a bottle of both, water based for toy use and silicone for sex?

Things also seem to say that the water based aqua has glycerine in it, which I have heard can be bad. any thought?

I prefer water based lubes for everything. pjur does make a silicone based product, but I prefer water based.

I would suggest the pjur woman aqua. I haven’t heard anything about it containing glycerine — where have you seen that?
