lol! What a funny story! And no, you wouldn’t confuse boyshorts with briefs! Tho I do like boyshorts myself sometimes, they are very comfortable to wear and lounge around in, but I can’t imagine having my underwear being delivered to me at a restaurant! Tho, I have been known to leave my underwear in hotel rooms! Years ago when my husband and I were still dating I think we hit every motel along Route 1 in between Boston and New Hampshire, and I always left a little present for housekeeping! Mmmm, those were fun times. There was one place we used to go that had waterbeds and porn in the room; the kind of place where they don’t even ask to see your driver’s license when you check in!

Nina, this wasnt exactly the sort of thread i was planning to use to join this blog, but holy hell, how could i resist that line?

i gotta tell ya, there is not much that compares to coming home after a few nights away when there have been special guests at my home. i remember the first time it happened very well. i was so damn curious about it all and worried that i had a strange pillow on my side of the bed. i promised that i would leave a better pillow on my side next time. well, turns out, the pillow didnt get noticed much. imagine that.

also a funny thing about that night. months and months later, my kids rushed to me on a saturday morning laughing laughing laughing that they had found my underwear in the couch cushions. well, they werent mine. and only an innocent child could ever confuse boyshorts with briefs, right? how much longer will we have the luxury of such innocence?

guys, if this ever happens to you, where your kids find panties in the cushions and they dont belong to anyone that lives in the house, count your blessings and laugh. or, wrap them up and have them delivered to the rightful owner at a nice restaurant, thats what i did.

Babe, how could I ever forget a girl who names her dildos after the Coreys? That’s priceless!

Well, I’ve been working on the site quite a bit this month, and I’ve spread out in a lot of different directions and I still have more ideas, but never enough time to put them all into play at once.

I think I’ll always write about whatever comes to mind, and I’m less concerned with being PC than I used to be. In a lot of ways that’s so refreshing to me and is really a good thing, and much of that is my effort for this space to not “just” be a sex blog. While that is a component, it isn’t everything… there’s a whole lot more to me than just my sex life! There’s more I could say, but for now I’ll just say thanks. I really appreciate the support!

Learning new things is a wonderful experience! I think when we stop learning or wanting to learn, that’s when we start to grow old. I always want to learn and keep my mind sharp.

It’s so funny that you brought this up in this way because Jeff and I were having a very similar discussion and it was actually something I was going to write about; that whole perception of how we remember something vs. how things are now. Both of us love the RHCP and because of Jeff’s past he’s had greater opportunity to grow up with many of these artists, but he feels the same way about U2 (which came up in our conversation.) He was talking about seeing U2 back in 1982 in Boston and we saw U2 on their last tour thru here and he described these feelings of almost never having grown older. Maybe when I write my post this will make more sense.

Yes! I had the house more or less to myself all weekend (except for Friday night! :wink:) It sounds like Austin is going to enjoy himself in March and you’ll get to spend some time with the Coreys’ :biggrin:

I saw Red Hot Chili Peppers in concert for the first time 3 years ago. They are Austin’s favorite band and one of my favorites so I was dissappointed when the concert was the crappiest concert I’d ever seen, plus the opening bands were Mars Volta and Queens of the Stoned Age which just made matters worse. When we left I was overcome with this horrible feeling like I missed something, then I realized what it was. I had wanted to see a Red Hot Chili Peppers concert performed when they were still young and funky, and since I was way too young then to see them live my only hope now is a time machine.

All alone without the man or the boy around eh? You are one lucky lady. Austin has been taking all this vacation time and he’s constantly underfoot, which is nice sometimes but he gets really aggravating when he’s bitchy about something. Lucky for me he’s going on a golf outing at the end of March and I told him I was gonna get some wine, masturbate and play WoW all weekend. But now I see I’ve been selfish, I should’ve thought to invite you straight away. Everything’s more fun with Nina!
