Last summer when I began reviewing the njoy line of sex toys, one of the topics which came up during the course of my research was the use of these toys, particularly the pure wand, in a BDSM or sexual D/s situation. At that time I had consulted with a number of friends who were involved in a BDSM lifestyle basically to get their opinions and to also get some insight into such subjects as forced orgasms and orgasm control and/or orgasm training. I had always intended to write about using the njoy products in a BDSM setting but it wound up being put on the back burner. I’d like to give thanks to Erin O’Brien who raised this topic with me recently, and for giving me some inspiration to write about this now.

BDSM and D/s is about surrendering power, or power exchange. A submissive relinquishes his or her power (for the purposes of this article I’m going to assume a female submissive) to her dominant, placing every aspect of control in that dominant’s hands. The purpose of this piece isn’t to examine all of the intricacies and varieties of BDSM play, but rather the one specific area of female orgasms in this specific setting using these specific toys.

What compelled me to even begin thinking about using either the njoy pure wand or njoy fun wand in these scenarios was the design of the toys and how they’re quite well suited for the practice of female ejaculation which I learned can often be part of BDSM play. Another area of BDSM play is the practice of forcing a submissive to have an orgasm or multiple orgasms based on the desires of the Dominant, or even the control or delay of her orgasms within a BDSM scene. I felt at the time that the pure wand would be ideally suited to these things, again because of the design of the toy, and because of the toy’s physical aesthetics and attributes. A highly polished curved stainless steel dildo does seem to fit the profile!

Many long time BDSM players are familiar with the Hitachi Wand and the g-spot attachments which can be used for the intense stimulation many BDSM practitioners are looking for. I’m a bit ambivalent about the Hitachi wand, tho I’m quite familiar with a number of ways which it can be used in a BDSM setting. Often a Dominant will restrain their submissive and suspend the Hitachi wand from either the ceiling or with some other harnessing system and place the head on the submissive’s clitoris for extended periods of time. This can sometimes become a bit awkward and cumbersome, but it’s very effective, but I believe the njoy products can be a bit more effective and achieve a higher level of stimulation and control, which is exactly what those in BDSM or D/s situations are looking for. Again the wise words of a friend; submissives want to submit.

From my review of the njoy pure wand, the toy is made of solid medical grade stainless steel with a large 1 ½ inch ball on one end and a1 inch ball on the other. The design of the toy is to stimulate a woman’s grafenberg spot with the large ball or a man’s prostate gland with the small ball. In a BDSM situation, one can envision a Dominant restraining his/her submissive and using the pure wand as a means to either induce orgasm, or train their submissive to control their orgasms. Let me explain how.

When inserted properly the large ball of the pure wand is pushed deep into the vagina past the PC muscles which line the floor and walls. This causes the large ball to then be forced up against the g-spot. The magic of the pure wand is that a woman’s anatomy acts as the engine for the toy, with the PC muscles contracting and effectively pulling the wand in deeper, or perhaps better put, forcing the motion of the large ball up against the g-spot causing stimulation. This action simply requires the very often involuntary contractions of a woman’s vaginal muscles. Because of the weight and shape of the pure wand, it’s almost impossible to push it out or expel it from the body once it’s inserted properly, making it an ideal tool for either forcing orgasms or for orgasm training. Again, the key to this toy is inserting it in far enough so that the body supplies the natural reflex action for the toy to work. By having the large ball pressing and moving against the g-spot, it becomes simply a matter of time before the onset and build up of orgasm which can sometimes include ejaculation.

All of the njoy toys can be chilled or heated as well to expand different areas of play, but the pure wand seems ideally suited for a BDSM setting. I’ve exchanged several emails with friends who have actually used the pure wand in these ways and they’ve all expressed immense satisfaction with the experience. Additionally, the njoy pure plugs are perhaps the finest butt plug on the market today, and these too also lend themselves very well to BDSM play. The open handle on the end of the pure plug lends itself to being secured to a harness for forced wearing or they can be secured to some other chastity device which are popular in homosexual BDSM play or FemDom situations.

Clearly the creators of the njoy line of toys had such visions in mind when they designed their products, and it’s truly been left to our own imaginations as to how we want to play with them.

From my own experience, I’ve fallen in love with all of my njoy toys. The orgasms I’ve given myself with the pure wand are incomparable to anything else, and using the fun wand with my partner has expanded cunniligus as well as felatio, and the pure plugs have completely enhanced my love of anal play and have taken my experiences to new levels.

I would be personally curious to hear about other’s experiences with these products, and this is a subject that I’ll likely continue to write about and explore.
