Many of my friends and I spent the day exchanging a flurry of back and forth emails to help make something wonderful happen. I’m happy to say that one of our beautiful angels facilitated a direct payment to Midphase to renew the hosting contract for The Butterfly Temptress, which means that not only does she now have access to her site, it also means that the other money we raised today can now go to help cover the costs of chemotherapy, along with what we raise next Friday.

I wanted to share a couple of emails with everyone because they renew my belief that we are all connected, and that there are no accidents in this universe. Thank you to everyone who made today possible! Okay, last one today! I’m heading out the door!

Want to hear something amazing? And I now believe, not by accident.

My grand daughter believes deeply, as do I - in fairies. And as we all know, butterflies are really fairies. This summer she and I grew from the pupae stage and into their chrysalis stage, ten painted lady butterflies. We released them onto this earth on June 26th.

Through our neighborhood walks, we kept seeing, pretty consistently, a beautiful bush. We found out from a neighbor that it is a ‘Butterfly bush.’

This morning, to prepare for our fall plantings I went to a nursery here that I love and got our raspberry plants - another favorite of hers, blueberry bushes - blueberries are my favorite, three different kinds of sunflowers, and yes, you guessed it - our own butterfly bush. It is in the back yard waiting to be planted as we speak.

Then later in the day, I came across your email. While I was on hold with her hosting company, all of these memories and thoughts came back to me. So now I know why it felt so right to take care of this for her. She is the Butterfly Temptress.

Nina, I don’t think things happen by accident. I have been very fortunate with my business these last couple of years, and I am very proud of what I do. Women need to help women. I hope she has a great day. I have had a great day. And I will look forward to reading and learning all about her. : )

Now… I have to share this. I told my mother an hour ago about your blog posting. My mother was a single parent all of our lives and indeed taught me the strength of women.

She came to my house just now to give me $20. Said to please give it to her with her blessing from God. Again, I am amazed at the breath of women.
