Stay Naked Sunday: Boston Sports Dilemma

Mmmm, fall is here. It was cold here this morning, or at least that’s what my husband tells me. I, on the other hand, haven’t got out of bed yet. It’s become my Sunday ritual you know; start having sex on Saturday night and continue fucking well into Sunday morning, and then sleep all day. It’s a good thing we don’t go to church.

Crisp air, bright blue skies and falling leaves aren’t the only thing indicating the change of season; we have September baseball and of course, football has started too. Unfortunately the Red Sox–Yankees game isn’t on NESN tonight. It’s on ESPN which means we’ll all have to listen to that moronic Yankee apologist and A-Rod sycophant Joe Morgan jerk off every time New York gets on base. And after my baby Josh Beckett spanked the Yankees like the bad girls they are yesterday in a 10-1 victory, I’m sure Joe will be strutting into the broadcast booth with his Cialis hard-on in complete denial that the Yankees are still 5 ½ games back behind the Red Sox… and did I mention that the Yankees suck?

We’re having friends over tonight so we’re putting two television sets in the living room so the boys can watch New England Patriots football and us girls can get all hot and bothered over Jacoby Ellsbury! Don’t ask… married couples do this kind of bullshit socializing every now and again, or at least that’s what Jeff keeps telling me. :ermm:

Oh wait, now he’s yelling up the stairs telling me, “will you get out of bed for fuck’s sake and take a shower and get dressed!?” :getlost:

Men. Have they no sense of priority? I know, you keep asking yourself how come she knows so much about sports, right? It’s a Boston thing, trust me… oh fuck, I suppose I have to get up now. I know, what a bitch I am … sigh…

Go Sox! And enjoy your Stay Naked Sunday!

If you get out of bed and get dressed … is it still “Stay Naked Sunday” … or is it “Got yelled at and had to get dressed Sunday”

Well Anyways : Have A fun Sunday :)

    Redwraithvienna,

Yeah! No kidding right! I like my Stay Naked Sundays to be done in the nude! Who wants to get dressed on a Sunday!

Tho we had fun tonight! The Patriots won, and the Red Sox blew it to an inferior team, again. So, we’ll have to see how this shakes out. Grrr!

    Thanks!

LMFAO, babydoll I missed you. I have hated the fucking Yanks forever and a day now, I didn’t even like them when I was supposed to, hometeam my ass. I love the Sox to death and was seriously pissed when a bunch of those two faced flat-leavers of the sox trotted to NY for the fat-backs, slimy bastards.

Sigh, my mother is a die hard yankee fan, i am a red sox fan. I can’t wait to see schilling’s take on this game. I love his blog.

    Echo darling! :kissing:

Oh I’ve missed you too sweetheart! Good lord do I hate the yankees! Tho my two idiot brothers are yankee fans, but me and my little sister were always Red Sox fans.

As for those two faced traitors who left Boston to go to NY, Damon has to be the worst offender, especially after he made the statement “I could never play for the Yankees” then he went and signed this huge ass deal to play for none other than the yankees. But I loved how Boston fans responded to that the first time he showed up at Fenway in a yankee uniform; they threw quarters at his ass as he stood out there in right field! hahahahaha! I love it!

I sooooooo hate the NY Yankees… Jeff walks around the house saying, “Fucking Yankees are a bunch of homos… fucking rainbow pinstripe wearing cocksuckers…” Now THAT’s a Red Sox Fan! :silly:

It’s so nice to see you back sweetheart! We must talk soon and catch up!

    love,

    Gije,

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me and welcome to geishaland!

That’s got to be tough having a mom cheering for the yankees! Put her in a home! (Just teasing!)

Well, while I love the Red Sox, I’m not a huge Curt Schilling fan. I have issues with #38. I mean, I think he was and still is a great pitcher in so many ways, but the moronic things he often says really piss me off sometimes. It’s like, “Hey Curt, just STFU and pitch!”

Tho I blame Francona for last night’s loss. Curt never should have been out there in the 8th inning, and he should have been immediately yanked after he gave up that double to Mientkiewicz. I think Tito has issues standing up to Curt’s ginormous ego… and he needs to be a manager first and do the right thing for the team. Grady Little made that mistake with Pedro in game 7 of the ALCS back in 2003 and look what happened!

But Boston is still 4 1/2 games up on NY with two weeks left to go so we’ll have to wait and see. Nothing is ever for sure in baseball. That’s why I love the game so much.

    Thanks!

You are lucky you are in Boston, i live in the ny metro area, I rarely get to see Boston games, unless they are on espn or playing against the Yankees. I have to watch sportscenter to catch the highlights.

    Gije,

I love living in the Boston area, but I don’t know that I’d complain about being near NY either! That can’t be all bad! Tho, I can understand New Yorkers being fans of the hometown team, tho they can root for the Mets instead. The worst are Yankee fans who have absolutely no connection to the team, the city, or even baseball! Go figure! At least with the Red Sox, you’ve got Red Sox Nation - a very real phenomenon which has Red Sox fans showing up at games in stadiums all over the country. We have a passion here that is second to none!

    Thanks so much!
