Lazy Ichi,

It's good to have those traditions. Tho I do like "It's a Wonderful Life" hahaha!

But you know, from my perspective, the holidays are a lot of work and they fly by so fast that I don't often get time to enjoy them! Just another curse we're stuck with! hahahaha! No woman gets to enjoy the holidays...

Thanks!

xoxo,

Here are a couple of viewing "traditions" we have. No, not the old standbys like "It's a Wonderful Life" or anything like that.

As would be expected, something off the beaten path.

First, we have Due South: Gift of the Wheelman. Yes, I'm a Dueser, and like all Duesers, loved the quirks that made this series well-written and loved by its followers.

Second, nothing says love like The Ref with Denis Leary, Kevin Spacey, and Judy Davis. The Nativity Scene says it all.

Lazy Ichi,

Thanks sweetheart, and thanks for the links as always! I hope you enjoy your holidays too.

We took a long weekend out on Cape Cod and just got home yesterday, so I'm just trying to get back into the swing of things.

Well that's goodness. See, the bartender would've sold you a beer. ;)

Btw, I highly recommend Firebrand, (also on ION at 11p Eastern) which has some of the best commercials (also available from iTunes).

I'm off to begin the holiday traditions soon starting with "The Further Adventures of Nick Danger" from one of my faves, Firesign Theatre.

Happy New Year to both you and Jeff.

Happy holidays.

Take 11 minutes to enjoy New Year's Eve as the Germans (and Swiss, Australians, South Africans and Latvians) do.

Every New Year's Eve, half of all Germans plunk down in front of their televisions to watch a 1963 English comedy sketch called Dinner for One. ... The show's popularity has spread to Scandinavia, where it is typically watched on December 23, as well as Switzerland, Austria, South Africa, Australia, and Latvia....

Even though Dinner for One is, according to the Guinness Book of World Records, the most frequently repeated TV program ever, it has never been aired in the United Kingdom or the United States, and most of the English-speaking world is ignorant of its existence...

What this says about the world, you decide. Happy New Year.

Dinner for One

And here's one I think you might like. The guy's a doctor, or maybe he plays one on tv, I forget. Mystery.

Here's the lyrics if you want to sing along. ;)

Much love and Namaste.

Hi Rob,

Oh yes! I also love doing all of those autumn/winter outdoor things. I went for my walk this morning in the wind and rain and loved it! With my umbrella of course but it was a lot of fun.

Ah yes, the poor Orioles! Well, you have Kevin Millar! You know, I thought the last game of the season between Baltimore and the Yankees was really disrespectful of your team. I found it really embarrassing for baseball that Joe Torre turned management duties for the game over to Jorge Posada. It was a really classless move and I'm personally really sick and tired of hearing about how Joe Torre is such a classy guy. It's a bunch of bullshit, but what really makes me happy is just how irrelevant the Yankees have become. I always like a competitive AL East, but I take a lot of joy in seeing NY fail.

Oh thanks! The menage a trois series is very personal to me. And yes, there will be instructions posted on how to gain access to the new material once it's online.

Thanks much!

xoxo,

L.,

Thanks so much! I'm a die hard member of Red Sox Nation and it's a lot of fun writing about baseball! I'll probably write some more things in the off season, but I'll keep them off the front page. So you can find them in the baseball section of geishaland!

Thanks!

C Munky,

Hmmmmm... Well, yes, we are getting an autumn here in the northeast.

I'm not quite sure how to respond to your remark about global warming except to say that I hope it encourages you to vote for leaders who will do something about it - unlike the oilmen currently in charge of the US government who deny the science.

I also love fall, I think it's because it's a season of change. Winter and summer are seasons that are great when they start but wear out their welcome. Going for a hike with the leaves crunching, getting that first frost and dusting of snow, it is just wonderful.

You of course have a baseball season to look back on and celebrate, my team came in fourth in the AL East for the ninth year in a row (thank God for Tampa Bay).

As for your blog, I loved the menage a trois series and I hope it continues. I sure hope I also get a password, because I would really miss your beautiful writing. As long as it's not about the Red Sox.... :-\

Hello Angel!

Oh yes... I've been insanely busy this month no doubt! It's tough trying to find the right balance, but you know, family, work, and life all come before cyberia.

I remember how strange it was to see green in January when we lived down in your neck of the woods! hahaha! But it is very pretty too. It's so nice here when the seasons change, and love the time when we're slipping into winter.

Well, the decision to restrict access to some of my work was something I went back and forth with for a while, but I feel most comfortable with doing it this way, and you're exactly right as to why. When we reach deep inside our own erotic core to write or to express and share our own experiences, it's intensely personal, and I just don't need or want that kind of attention, even tho I still feel the need to express those things. That's just not why I do this you know? But, we'll have to play it by ear and see what happens!

Thank you my sweetest angel!

love always,
nina

Busy, busy, busy.

Life can get entirely too busy at times can't it, gorgeous?

I love the Fall too, it's so incredibly beautiful even here where the leaves remain stubbornly green--sigh).

I think making your erotic work semi-private is a wonderful idea. Erotica, particularly when it's personal, is a very intimate thing and far too many people out here in cyberia just don't respect that.

Mwah, my love!
