Heading for the sun and some Red Sox spring training

While it’s been a very busy week, there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s a big bright one too. Pass the tanning butter, baby! We’re going to Florida!

So, while I work to get geishaland up to speed, I’ve also got to get laundry done, dig out my swimsuit and finish packing for our late winter vacation. Part of this trip will include taking in some baseball games and hopefully getting a few autographs too! We’ve got tickets to one game already, and we’ll probably try and see a couple more while we’re down there. Also on the agenda is some shopping in Delray Beach and some time by the pool. :-)

Delray Beach has an amazing art-vibe, and the last time we were down there I picked up some great pottery and saw some really cool shops run by local artists which I’m hoping to visit again. The Morikami Japanese Gardens are also in Delray Beach, which I always love visiting, and now more than ever, I really feel the need to get out of the cold and take this vacation.

For your perusing pleasure, the following changes have been made to geishaland.

All posts have been tagged and reassigned to new categories. The main category is called Journal and it contains the bulk of what’s here. Posts and topics about software, computers and other geeky-type issues are in the Geek Girl section. The category formerly known as Sexologie has been merged into Health, and Toy Reviews is pretty self explanatory. The Sanctuary section is now called Private, which made sense to me, and that can be directly accessed from the Sanctuary Page.

Pages have been cleaned up too, but the Links page is still incomplete and I need to tweak the Media page a bit too. Hopefully I’ll be able to get that done by tomorrow, but if not, it’ll have to wait until we get back. I am taking my Macbook, but I don’t know how often I’ll be checking email, this is a vacation after all.

Hopefully, after some soothing sunshine, some balmy days by the ocean, some much needed retail therapy, a few nights of hot–n-steamy love-making, and of course some baseball games… I’ll come back feeling completely recharged and in the mood to write!

So until then, Aishiteru wa!

Enjoy, sweetie. I’m so envious.

Hi Tasha!

We had a fabulous time! Where in S. Florida are you? You’ll have to email me next time we’re down there!

My mother-in-law said this winter has been very strange in Florida. I guess the state in in a drought, but it keeps raining! So go figure that one out! But we had really nice weather for our trip. Nice and warm and sunny!

Hi saratoga!

We had a great time! We even saw your St. Louis Cardinals too! Roger Dean Stadium is the training facility used by the Cardinals and the Marlins, and I know my mother-in-law is going to a game today between the Baltimore Orioles and the Cardinals, which I would have loved to have seen myself, but we had to come home yesterday. Oh well. I got a lot of my baseball fix taken care of this week, so I’m good until opening day!

Hi Piper!

Thanks sweetie! We had a wonderful trip. I thought of you at the airport on the way home. We were in the garage of Palm Beach International and I saw an SUV with a bumper sticker that said “We (Heart) Piper”! I wish I’d taken a picture of it but my camera was burried in my bag!

The Red Sox look great too!
