Geisha Boys
Sent to me by my longtime reader Dins_P.; a story which appeared on CNN here about the latest fashion accessory Japanese women cannot live without; a paid boy toy. It’s being termed as - ‘a dizzying role reversal’ - but I’m not so sure. I’m a modern woman, I saw American Gigolo, I saw Under The Cherry Moon, I know that wealthy women pay for the company of hot young men who are willing and eager to please – and while I cannot claim to ever having received such professional services pampering myself
– the geisha_boy (named Yunosuke) pictured with that CNN article isn’t going to cut it. You see, women tend to get a little insecure when their men look as pretty as (or prettier than) they are. A good rule of thumb girls – never go dancing with a man who uses more ‘product’ than you do.
But — Yunosuke claims to have made over 200k last year, so there might be something to this. Time for a trip to Tokyo I think! Banzai!
And — since I’ve become quite the content slut princess these days – if there’s something you think might interest me — by all means please send it along!

He is way too feminine for me. Maybe boys like that also work to satisfy the girl-girl part of the fantasy on some level without disturbing any social status quo? I don’t know, but I have never seen a male look so feminine.
There was an article I read here in the papers a few months ago that was discussing how women (I don’t remember if it related to China or Japan) preferred western men as marriage partners. I think the article appeared in relation to Australian men, in the Sydney Morning Herald. I have to look it up
