Hi David,

Sorry it took me a couple of days to answer you -- I've had other things going on.

I think Morrison (like Cobain, Joplin, Hendrix and so many others) were meant to live twice as bright as the rest of us, but also half as long. Perhaps this is why they remain iconic to those of us who like to indulge our right brains!

We'll never really know what Morrison thought in the end... but we have what he left behind to remember what he meant to us.

Thanks,

Vie gehts Nina; Morrisons demons although instigated by his creativity and success were not a result of his genius. Society , status, the sixties, genetics, fate, and friendships formed a destiny not tobe denied. Many factors could have saved Jim, success in the music industry was not one of them. Although desire to acheive is instilled in many individuals not everyone is able to identify and acomplish dreams. Yet fate will still guides our lives, had Morrison failed at music and lived to raise his grandchildren one wonders if he would feel a failure today. Dream today gone tomorrow. Sincerely David
