Okay – I call my journal ‘lazy geisha’ – it’s a nickname my husband gave me when we were first dating and it stuck – tho the ‘lazy’ part of that was more of a metaphor for something else, not a literal definition or description of my personality; except today when I laid down for a short nap and wound up sleeping for five hours.

Can you say lazy slut?  Oh yes.  :razz:

I was up early this morning (as I usually am)  because I needed to go to Staples and I had to get some things overnighted to Chicago for work, and I wanted to get some things done before I got caught up in something else.  I usually try to schedule my work days where I get the priorities out of the way first and not procrastinate so I can then work at my own pace and on my own schedule – and unless I have a meeting or conference call or have to do some short travel into Boston, this plan and approach usually works out just fine for me; except today.  Well – not really.  I mean, it worked in that I got what I “needed” to get done out of the way this morning.  The five hour nap tho wasn’t part of the plan!

Oh well.  I must have been tireder than I thought…  snoozy lazy bitch that I am!

So – some random thoughts as I rub my eyes and try and shake the cobwebs out of my head.

A joke?  Sure, why not?   Why do we rub our eyes in the morning?  Because we don’t have balls.   lmao!  (groan)  Okay – maybe no jokes then… 

This whole Hillary Clinton thing is really starting to piss me off.  This idea that women are all disenfranchised because Hillary isn’t getting the nomination is just such a bullshit argument.  It isn’t sexism – and I’m personally insulted that she’s taken the last refuge of a skank to make her case that she should be the Democratic nominee: her vagina.

The Clintons and their supporters have said and have tried and have done everything to try and knock off Obama (including the RFK statement) – but now they’re trying to claim sexism as the reason why she’s lost/losing – that somehow because she’s a woman, the whole country is against her, and she’s jacked up angry white women to the point of hysteria with this ridiculous vulvacracy plea that it’s really become incredibly embarrassing.

You know Hillary, just because I’m a woman and I can “feel your pain” — it doesn’t mean that I should support you simply because we happen to be the same gender.  You making these arguments about sexism actually weakens us.  You were positioned to perhaps be the first woman president and you blew it: all by yourself.  Look in the mirror and take some responsibility for your arrogance, hubris and entitlement complex, and stop trying to co-opt my clit for your political gain.

And did you happen to catch this little hysterical meltdown here from that other embarrassment of womanhood Michelle Malkin?  Well – apparently the xenophobic, psychotic, and moronic conservative blogger Malkin dragged low brow barista Dunkin Donuts into that very scary teeny-brained little world of hers over an ad featuring the ever perky Rachael Ray.  According to Malkin – the black and white paisley scarf Rachael often wears (and wore in the ad) looked a little too much like a kaffiyeh – a traditional Arab headdress — and good lord that just won’t do dontchaknow. 

When I first heard about this a couple of days ago I was too busy with other things to manufacture some outrage and post about it – but what made it worse is that D&D pulled the ad in an attempt to pacify the complaints of members of the right wing lunatic fringe blogosphere.

Are you fucking kidding me D&D?

The conservative right went into meltdown-mode a couple of weeks ago and started accusing Democrats of being “appeasers” — including making comparisons between Barack Obama and Neville Chamberlain’s ceding parts of Czechoslovakia to Adolf Hitler before WWII.

You want to see the face of appeasement and naked aggression Republicans?

It’s idiots like Michelle Malkin threatening to boycott Dunkin Donuts over a scarf that a pitch-woman was wearing in a :30 second commercial, and Dunkin Donuts giving in.  And like any appeasement – it never works.  Now D&D has put itself in the position of being squeezed the next time one of these shallow gene pool swimming nutjobs with an internet connection and a blog thinks they see a terrorist at the local coffee shop.
