This is really quite shameful behavior on her part (the not conceding the race) — I mean, she’s lost. It’s over. Be gracious and formally endorse Obama now. Even her supporters are running for cover now because of her embarrassing speech last night in NYC.

I personally believe it would be a huge mistake for Obama to add her to the ticket — tho the idea of him picking another woman IMO ‘might’ be a good idea. Hard to say. I have conflicting feelings on this, tho I know had she exited the race weeks ago when it was beyond obvious that the math just wasn’t there, that the Democrats & Obama would be in a much better position now.

But, I think when we really get into the general election campaign and voters can truly compare Obama’s vision for the country vs. the frightening alternative of John McCain’s vision… I think Obama will do just fine. I mean, really… despite what some of these very angry and hysterical Clinton supporters are saying to pollsters now… does anyone really believe that these women are going to vote for the Anti-Choice John McCain? I don’t think so.

What saddens me is that I had so much respect for the Clintons before this primary race started, and I have felt that respect slowly erode away and devolve into absolute disgust for the both of them. It really does make me sad.

But I don’t think she’s going to concede on her own — someone is going to have to toss her ass overboard and push her out the door.

She’s like the guest who comes to your houseparty and won’t take the hint that it’s time to leave and you basically have to get rude and throw them out.

A big Thank You to Howard Dean.

Oh absolutely! Howard Dean’s 50 State Strategy made this Obama victory possible. It allowed him to develop and establish his ground game in all the caucus states, and it allowed him to create the necessary infrastructure for the general election — and what’s great about that is now Democrats will be poised to compete in what the conventional wisdom has seen as traditional red states.

Tho want to hear some irony? Do you know who was opposed to Dean’s 50 State Strategy? The Clinton led psuedo-republican lite DLC. Former DNC chair Terry McAuliffe (a Clinton flak) and Clinton surrogate James Carville.

Seriously, I love how MoDo put it in her column today — I would rather LOSE with Obama than win with Hillary. Breaking the Clinton lock on the Democratic Party is exactly what needed to happen.

I believe in hope and I believe in Obama, and I believe that he’s gonna win too.

You know, I don’t typically enjoy having to have bare knuckled scrums with people, especially on my journal, but sometimes you have to stand up for what you believe in and fight your battle. I do not shy away from that.
